Alex Tatusian is a graphic designer and writer working in New York. He specializes in print and packaging design, primarily for publications, posters, music, and experimental projects. Clients include small and large art and design institutions, businesses, artists, and research groups.
He designs for clients who care, and actively seeks projects confronting civic and social problems. Until its dissolution in 2014, Alex led the multimedia working group BF Bifocals, aggressively involving the public through innovative publications and events, including a series of large-scale installation environments at the historic Judson Memorial Church.
Publications are or were available at Artbook MoMA PS1, The New Museum, the 99% Invisible blog, Printed Matter, St. Marks Bookshop, Spoonbill and Sugartown, Book Court, and Blonde Art Books. His work has appeared at the Brooklyn Art Book and Zine Fair (2013, 2014), the Camera Club of New York, Gowanus Observatory, the Ho_se, and Judson Memorial Church.
Alex can also print limited-run Risograph publications and posters. Contact him at firstname.lastname@example.org for jobs, collaborations, beers, or noodles at Nice Green Bo.
